Merry And Bright Registered Nurse Christmas Pines Shirt Shirts
Working in a wood product plant we had an area under cover of a roof that we unloaded wood from flatbed trailers. While walking by the doorway I noticed I could see someone on the flat bed of a trailer which was against our Safety policy and knowing that the only people that would be out there was our forklift driver who was really new and the Truck Driver. So I went out there to tell them that it was against our policy to allow them to be on that truck. Well it was our forklift operator and he was smoking a cigarette. Smoking was a big NO as we had all kids of wood dust and particles and a fire would have been easy to set and hard to put out. So, I asked him why he was on the trailer and smoking, (Still thinking he was new, and I would coach and maybe even discipline to some degree but really I was not going to fire him.) He said that he got on the trailer to smoke because “it was the only place that you could not see me” that told me that he was very aware of the no smoking policy and therefore he did not get the benefit of my good nature. There was a cordoned off area for the customers. One day Rock was called in the office. The boss looked like he was straight out of the 50s himself, he had so much grease in his hair. Rock lost his cool, stormed out of the office, walked through the garage and out through the in door, jumped on his Harley then drove through the garage revving the engine, going from bay to bay and kicking tool boxes over. It sounded like they were dropped from the ceiling. I was happy he chose to go out this way, but I was gonna miss him. I said goodbye Johnny as he passed. That was his given name.
